In Which Brian Keene And J. F. Gonzalez And I Talk Pulp And More

Clickers vs. Zombies is the fourth book in the Clickers series (the original book written by J. F. Gonzalez and Mark Williams, the subsequent books written by J. F. Gonzalez and Brian Keene), out in digital and paperback. Brian Keene has also released his latest foray into self-publishing, the outstanding novella The Girl on the Glider. J. F. Gonzalez has a new novella out with Thunderstorm Books called Sins of the Father. Today Brian and Jesus stopped by and we sat around my office and recorded a podcast, talking about their recent releases, as well as digital publishing and Barnes & Noble and the future of publishing. A great podcast to kick off the new year. Enjoy.

In Which Kelli Owen And I Are Intoxicated

It's very late. We had some friends over. One of those friends was Kelli Owen. I did a podcast with her awhile back. I decided to do another podcast with her tonight ... while some of us had had quite a bit to drink. Her new book is Live Specimens. You should buy a copy. You can win a copy, but you have to listen to learn how. We talk about some ... crazy stuff. You should check it out. But if you do, just be warned -- it ain't pretty.

In Which Jeremy Robinson And I Discuss Monsters And Publishing

Best-selling author Jeremy Robinson is a very cool guy -- I'm not just saying that because he once blurbed my novel The Dishonored Dead (though that doesn't hurt) -- and I'm thrilled he took some time out of his busy schedule to talk about his latest releases, including Project Nemesis and Ragnarok, as well as his thoughts on traditional and self publishing. Jeremy started self-publishing back in 2005 and did well enough that he managed to score a book deal with a major publisher, but that hasn't stopped him from self-publishing. We talk about all of that and so much more in my latest podcast. Enjoy!

In Which Jeroen ten Berge And I Discuss Cover Design

The super extremely talented Jeroen ten Berge is awesome. Like, really awesome. He's designed several of my past covers, and will continue to design several of my future covers. He's one of the best in the biz, and I'm thrilled to have had a chance to talk to him about cover design, whether cover art is dying in the digital world, and even, um, socialized medicine. Give it a listen.

In Which Tim Lebbon And I Talk About Books, Star Wars, And Running

Tim Lebbon -- who has published close to thirty books, including one of my favorite novellas White -- has a lot of new releases, including Coldbrook, London Eye, Nothing as it Seems, and next year the world will see his Star Wars novel Into the Void. Today Tim takes time out of his crazy busy schedule to talk about his most recent releases, as well as his upcoming Star Wars novel and his novelization of The Cabin in the Woods, plus the tough reality of self-promotion and how he got into running marathons. Enjoy!
